12 years and counting

Well, yesterday was mine and Ben's 12 years anniversary! We celebrated on Saturday. We had Texas Roadhouse for dinner and watched a movie. I can't believe it's been 12 years already, time has flown by. Yesterday we also had a birthday dinner for my neice Avery. Happy belated b-day Av we love ya.

Happy Birthday Ellie..and everything else that has gone on

O.K. so I am totally late posting this but on the Saturday before Ellie's 3rd birthday we had a party for her. She invited everyone in her nursery class(before we knew we were going to have a party for her). Ever since her cousins birthday party she had been wanting a bounce house birthday party.

So we called up McKayle and rented the big slide and a small bounce house. The slide got too hot so we turned the water on it. The kids loved it. Too bad I hadn't planned on everyone getting wet. It was a big mess in the house but they all had a good time so it was worth it right?

We also had a Japanese exchange student for a couple of weeks. My kids loved her so much. She was so good with them and brought cute little presents for them that they totally love. They keep asking when we are going to get another student now that she is gone.

How sweet is it that he will paint his daughters finger and toenails.

I wanted to wish Ben a HAPPY BIRTHDAY before the day ended. I love you so much I hope you had a great day. Heres hoping another 31 will come our way and we will be as happy as we are right now!

Makeover Weekend

So this weekend Lisa came down and brought all of her jewelry and some of her clothes for me to try on and wear to church. McKayle came down on Sunday and did our hair and we got ready for church. Too bad grouchy kids and bad weather made us come home after Sacrament meeting so that Lisa could head back up north. It was fun having Lisa and 2 of her kids come and visit. Thanks Lisa, I had a fun weekend dressing up and hanging out with you. We need to do it again soon.

A little bob

Well, here is the finished product of my daughters scalping/ self haircut. Thanks so much to my sister Darcee and her friend Jackie. We ended up with a cute little bob. I have to pull a Donald Trump and comb a little bit more hair over to the one side to cover up the damage but for what they had to work with I was quite impressed with the finished result.
