Hair today, gone tomorrow(and until it grows back)

Well, I have "relearned" a valuable lesson. Actually 2 lessons.
1) My 3 yr old still can NOT be left alone with scissors!
2) Hair is very necessary to make a 3 year old girl look like a girl

So I am a day late posting this but 7 years ago yesterday I had a beautiful baby boy! We had a water slide for his party and invited family to come and celebrate with us. We made pizza and then had cake and icecream. The kids had lots of fun on the slide(when Ben can help me I will post pictures)! So I know it's late posting but I hope you had a happy birthday Kason, we sure do love you and all that you add to our family

Homeless??

With a closet full of dress up dresses this is Ellie's favorite one of all! She loves to poke her legs through the bottom of a walmart sack and put the handles of the bag over her shoulders. Maybe she will start a trend ;) The hair does add to the homeless look don't you think?

12 years and counting

Well, yesterday was mine and Ben's 12 years anniversary! We celebrated on Saturday. We had Texas Roadhouse for dinner and watched a movie. I can't believe it's been 12 years already, time has flown by. Yesterday we also had a birthday dinner for my neice Avery. Happy belated b-day Av we love ya.

Happy Birthday Ellie..and everything else that has gone on

O.K. so I am totally late posting this but on the Saturday before Ellie's 3rd birthday we had a party for her. She invited everyone in her nursery class(before we knew we were going to have a party for her). Ever since her cousins birthday party she had been wanting a bounce house birthday party.

So we called up McKayle and rented the big slide and a small bounce house. The slide got too hot so we turned the water on it. The kids loved it. Too bad I hadn't planned on everyone getting wet. It was a big mess in the house but they all had a good time so it was worth it right?

We also had a Japanese exchange student for a couple of weeks. My kids loved her so much. She was so good with them and brought cute little presents for them that they totally love. They keep asking when we are going to get another student now that she is gone.

I think someone has Ben wrapped around her finger, too bad it's not me.
How sweet is it that he will paint his daughters finger and toenails.
